Outdoor sports in winter

Temperatures are dropping outside, maybe even the first snow is falling and instead of exercising in the cold, you'd much rather hide under the covers with a cup of hot chocolate until it gets warmer again? That’s understandable, but you could be in for a ‘rough’ spring awakening if you're out of breath just climbing the stairs and your back starts to ache when you're sitting down. Alpin Arena Senales is looking forward to the winter season

It's only September, the first leaves are turning colour at lower altitudes and we're already thinking about winter? What seems premature is not so unrealistic. On the Val Senales Glacier, at 3,212 metres above sea level, where temperatures don't rise above 15 degrees even in summer, the first snowflakes are already falling in September. What does that mean? That we are the first ski resort in South Tyrol to open its doors for the winter season - in the second half of September. Today, we want to share with you why we always look forward to the winter season in particular.
